This is a good simulation of what it sounds like inside my head.

Iosun responds:

i’m sure (thank you for review!)

I'm interested, but I'm not sure how, why, when or in what way, or what this means, or in what way or how, to me, you or anyone else.

NOmki responds:

yes

This was made in LMMS. Let's consider this for a minute.

MrFliss responds:

LMMS has %80 of the utility as FL Studio. The only real downfall of the program is it doesn't have a fancy shmancy FX chain or good sample manipulation. Also they keep updating the program so they may add that at one point in the future.

The closest I can equate to this vibe of the vocals is by referencing Oliver Tree - Gone, The lyrics and meanings have never been a strong point with the music so far, but everything else is put together well enough in a classic styled way.

My god... how you made Tal electro sound smooth is beyond me.

Interesting, personally I think it's more jazzy than anything else. It's got a little techno vibe in there that I can only describe as anime-styled. I always appreciate a little bit of unique-sounding notes, and though it stumbles here and there and the heavy reverb motifs fall flat on it face, it works out. It's a challenge to wrap my head around where one verse starts and another ends. Though I'm sure that will kill the flow of the track if it were to get chopped up as it is now for the sake of simplicity, but then again, this type of genre isn't meant to be simple, now is it?

Iosun responds:

what 'heavy reverb motifs' are you referring to? thanks for review!

Just barely missing the mainstream sounding mastering mark. Maybe could use more side-chaining.

ktgen responds:

ayyyyy thanks man, I did a rough mix and master total time spent = around 2 hr. I already have sidechain almost maxed out so I think my problem might lay within my sloppy mix.

Would love to hear another track in this style :D

I know you are taking many liberties to still be able to classify this as music, but generally opening themes are dramatically more ambient, with extremely slow attack, and the piano can be swapped with maybe more wet reverb or just completely switched out to another pad all-together. I personally despise what you are trying to do (not really) but it is a good attempt :)

Vista-Sound13 responds:

It's okay if you don't like this kind of genre. Thanks for your review.

Cool ^_^
